In 18 weeks you will be graduating. Sometimes seniors want to skip the last months and just head right on across the stage.
Since this is not our reality, I would like you to take some time today to take stock of your behaviors and attitudes.
Is this happening to you?
How are you coping?
What academic challenges will you be facing in the next 18 weeks?
What you have done well so far your senior year?
What do have yet to accomplish?
When you wake up on graduation day, what one thing would you like to be able to say to yourself?

ReplyDeleteI am not struggling with grades because I am taking college classes. They are tough, but well worth it. I will be happy to graduate with some college already done and paid for.

ReplyDelete2. I'm doing just fine, like every other year

1. Yes. it's been difficult to cope with the fact that some of my classes aren't going as well as i hoped and i don't have the ambition to continue. It's taken a lot of stress on me and shows through my efforts to succeed. unfortunately.
2. I'm a little in denial as far as facing the fact that i've never done this poorly in any year let alone in the majority of my classes.. being ill and falling behind only make my life more stressful along with all the things i have to further endure.
3. to be continued

3. i'll be fighting senioritis for the rest of the year i fear, but my primary concern is making sure i end up on top and everything feels like a success.. it just takes time for me to get back in the game and build my self-esteem.
ReplyDelete4. i've been reminded everyday of the things i must do to succeed and actions i need to take to get where i need to be in the future, however, i can't pick out the good things that i've done well.... chorus has fallen apaart and i feel less connected musically than i ever have especially compared to the past, government is one of those things i can never understand as much as i try, and along with that the things i do understand, a certain teacher makes me question my knowledge due to approach to teach, the hardest class that i have, i seem to be doing very well in and feel still that i'm not quite there, and the class as a whole has weakened over the last year and a half, i feel, in a mental state as far as maturity, respect, etc. But, if grasping all of this is a job well-done then i suppose this is my well-doing.
5. all of the above
6.i can do this. i can help myself when others can't and i can yet still make time to help them so i can better myself. (p.s. mental note.... call jake)

I'm doing reasonably well with my grades, I do sometimes find it a challenge to wake up early sometimes. Ac Dec will be Challenging, as will Comp 2. I am looking forward, however, to rising to the occasion and completing the year with better grades and achievements than before.
