DECEMBER "GRATEFUL FOR" WEEK TWO

Sunday, December 6th
Today I am grateful for my dad who modeled a deep faith; a strong work ethic; strength of character and kindness; love of the land; and most importantly, moral integrity.

  19. I am grateful today that my husband was able to retire from the USPS and will not have to deliver mail over 80 miles of gravel roads in a snowstorm.

    I am grateful today for the cardinals that come to our feeders. They are a gracious and beautiful contrast to the blowing snow in our back yard.

    I am grateful today for our neighbor who came and blew the 4-foot drifts off of our driveway. I am also grateful that I don't have to care that he blew the drifts away because I do not have to go anywhere today (even though I know we now have two snow days to make up).
