I am grateful for September 29th, July 3rd, December 13th, September 2nd, August 1st, and August 28th! These are the days that celebrate the most special people in my life.

As I watched the men and women at West Point listening to the president's speech last night, I put faces with the term "armed forces." I remember former students and students in school now who are or have served us bravely and with dignity.
I am most grateful for those people and their families who have the courage and the willingness to keep you and me safe in a country that was founded on the premise that all people have the right to be free.
ditto!!! December 2, Today i was asked to go to youth and help provide gifts for Christmas for a family in need. I am grateful for the people in the world that do these things so that by chance, if any of us were to come to be in a situation like that.. someone would be there to care for us, and it shows that the world still has some sanity and kindness in its heart.
I am grateful today for my mom who taught me that both living and dying is a process (sometimes a really difficult process). But in the end, it's all about the kind of person we have become. Thanks, Mom.
Absolutely. We all need to keep them in mind this holiday, as they are protecting us overseas, and will not be able to be with their families this Christmas. We must never forget their sacrifices.

Saturday, December 5th I am grateful today for traditions and for family and friends who value those traditions as much as I do. The youngest cookie-baker this year is almost two:-)
